The Cybersecurity Industry Call for Innovation is back this year, bigger and better. The 2021 programme is jointly organised by Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), NUS Enterprise and TNB Ventures to uplift Singapore’s cybersecurity landscape. To kick start a new programme cycle for the Cybersecurity Industry Call for Innovation 2021, an end-user engagement and education programme was implemented in an effort to increase end-user sophistication and overall demand for innovation cybersecurity solutions.

The Cybersecurity Innovation, Trends & Insights Symposium 2021 was held over two online sessions. The first symposium was held on 01 June 2021 with attendance of 32 participants from 23 end-users from the Healthcare, Consumer, Financial, and Maritime/Transport (OT) sectors.

The symposium was opened by Prof Chee Yeow Meng, Associate Vice President (Innovation & Enterprise), Office of the Senior Deputy President and Provost, National University of Singapore, followed by a keynote session on Future of Cybersecurity with keynote speakers Mr Vicky Ray, Principal Researcher (Unit 42 Threat Intelligence), Palo Alto Networks and Mr Paul Hadjy, CEO & Co-founder, Horangi. 

The end-users were then split into two breakout groups for an interactive discussion session, followed by Highlights of Discussions of the breakout sessions. The Symposium was concluded with a briefing on the Cybersecurity Industry Call for Innovation 2021 by CSA representative.
